Walter Lampl Sterling Asian Gate Brooch with Turquoise & Coral
This unusual and lovely brooch was cut from sheet silver and then pierced and molded into a highly sculptural, arching three dimensional representation of a traditional Chinese gate. Three nuggets of greenish blue turquoise dangle from the eaves on each side of the gate. A red coral bead hangs from the center of the gate. These beads add movement and interest to the piece. Marked STERLING BY Lampl (with Lampl in script). Safety clasp holds well.
Measures 1-7/8 x 2-1/2 inches.
Very good vintage condition. Pin stem slightly bent. Rich patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed.
