Walter Lampl Enameled Sterling Bee Brooch, Pins, and Earrings 5 Piece Set
This very rare 5 piece enameled sterling set includes a 1-3/4 x 2 inch brooch, two scatter pins each measuring 7/8 x 1-1/4 inches, and screwback earrings identical in size to the scatter pins. The colors of these pieces are charming - mauve, green, black, yellow, red, and purple. The sterling is plated with gold vermeil. This set dates to the early 1940s. It is unusual to find even one piece of these fantastically whimsical Lampl enamels. To find a full set still together is very special. The large brooch and the scatter pins are marked STERLING. The earrings are marked with the Walter Lampl shield hallmark.
