Walter Lampl Carved Scarabs Gold Filled Brooch
This beautiful brooch has a particularly graceful form, with 5 semiprecious gemstone scarabs carved on front and back. These include an amethyst, a clear quartz crystal, a carnelian, a chrysoprase, and a very dark blue stone that may be lapis lazuli. The brooch is marked 1-20-12K and with WL in script inside a shield. This Retro style piece dates to the 1940s.
Measures about 2 x 2-1/2".
No damage to thick gold plating nor stones. Safety clasp holds well.
