Walter Lampl Art Deco Carnelian Bracelet

$465.00

This remarkable silver-tone filigree bracelet is set with 3 large sugarloaf cabochon carnelian stones. Each stone measures 13 x 18 mm. and rises to a peak 9 mm. above its setting. Semiprecious carnelian gemstones in this style were shown in Walter Lampl advertisements in jewelry industry publications in 1926 and 1927. The bracelet is marked with the early WL style of Walter Lampl. The unusual slide clasp has a safety feature that is invisible from the top of the piece and holds securely. The classic Art Deco styling of this bracelet and its remarkable condition make it a real standout and a true collector's piece.

Measures 6-3/4" long and 5/8" wide.

No damage to filigree or plating. No scratches or signs of wear to the front of the stones. The center stone has a tiny chip on one corner of the back. This can not be seen when the bracelet is worn and does not affect the security of the setting. There are a few traces of old silver polish on the reverse side of the bracelet.
