Vintage Traditional Style Signed Japanese Kokeshi Doll
This light wood kokeshi doll is painted very simply in red, black, and palest yellow. Her face is particularly lovely, with a pair of tiny red dots for her lips. It is signed by the artist on the bottom, though we have not been able to identify the maker. She shows some minor wear appropriate for her age. The varnish is worn away on the back of her head and there is one small area of paint damage to the hem of her skirt. Overall, she is in very good vintage condition.
