This is a large, early, and especially fine example of enameled sterling jewelry from the country now known as Thailand. Alternating bands of black and iridescent orange enamel are framed in finely chased silver. The god of thunder, Rama Soon, is shown chasing Mekla, the goddess whose crystal ball produces lightning. Tube type clasp holds well. Marked MADE IN SIAM STERLING.

Measures 1-7/8 x 3 inches.

Excellent vintage condition with no damage to enameling. Pin stem slightly bent. Normal patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed.
