Vintage Midcentury Wide Hand Carved Cinnabar Color & Enamel Bracelet
This gorgeous Midcentury wide brass bracelet has hand carved red and black details all around, with a royal blue enamel interior. The bracelet was created by applying a layer of black resin-based polymer over the brass bangle, then adding a thick layer of red resin-based polymer on top of the black. The interior was enameled in dark cerulean blue. The layers of polymer were then intricately and skillfully carved into peony flower motifs. This is a more modern spin on the ancient Chinese material, cinnabar.
Measures 1-1/2 inches wide. Inside circumference is 8 inches.
