Vintage Japanese Reverse Carved Rock Crystal Pendant & Earrings Set
This remarkable set dates to the 1950s to 1960s. Each piece has an intricately detailed pagoda carved on the back of a chunky pyramid-shaped rock crystal stone. This creates a 3 dimensional image reflected through the stone. In the screw-back earrings, these carved stones drop on sterling links from a faceted rock crystal stone at the earlobe, creating a wonderfully dynamic look. The larger carved rock crystal pendant is suspended from a sterling chain.
Earrings measure 1-5/8inches long, 1 inch wide in total. The carved triangle stones of the earrings measure 1 x 1 inch. The faceted round crystals at the earlobe measure 3/8 inch in diameter.
The pendant measures 1-3/8 x 1-3/8 inches. The sterling chain is 16 inches long.
