Vintage Alwand Vahan Sterling & 14K Gold Twist Hoop Earrings
These outstanding 1980s pierced-style hoop earrings have spectacular detail. Ropes of silver and bands of gold are twisted together for a look that is complex, elegant, and timeless. The only marks are on the fine gold wires that clip into their clasp snugly, holding the earrings securely in place. One of the very tiny marks reads 14K, the other longer mark appears to have a copyright symbol, but the maker’s mark can’t be distinguished. The earrings are identical in style to signed Alwand Vahan pieces from that era. The quality of craftsmanship in these gorgeous earrings is extraordinary.
