Vintage 1960s Silver Braid Clutch Evening Bag with Lucite Zipper Pull
This very unusual evening bag dates to the early 1960s. The fabric has been created by coiling silver metallic cord in two spiral patterns to create a highly textured surface that resembles micro beads. The scalloped shape of the top adds additional interest, as does the triangle-shaped clear Lucite zipper pull. The inside of the purse is lined with black fabric.
The bag measures 6-3/4 inches across at the bottom and 9 inches across at the top. It is 5 inches wide at the top of each scallop. The Lucite zipper pull measures 2 x 1-1/4 inches.
