Massive Southwest Silver & Turquoise Thunderbird Cuff Bracelet
Crafted from coin silver and set with 4 dark green turquoise stones, this chunky bracelet weighs 3.6 ounces (100 grams). The band is thick and solid. On the face of the bracelet is a beautifully crafted thunderbird that rises 3 mm. proud above the band. The thunderbird is flanked by 2 beautifully veined pieces of dark green turquoise on each side. Three of these stones measure 1 x 1.5 cm. each. The fourth stone is larger, measuring 1.5 x 2 cm. The workmanship of this outstanding unsigned bracelet is excellent, though the style is primitive.
Measures 1-1/4 inch wide. The band is 5-1/2 inches long, with a 1-1/2 gap.
Excellent condition. Rich patina of vintage silver has been left intact on all but the raised areas. Those have been gently polished with a Sunshine cloth to bring out the detail.
