Large 1940s Walter Lampl Faux Amethyst & Sterling Leaf Brooch
This big Retro Modern brooch features a large, beautifully shaped and contoured silver leaf framing a 15 x 20 mm. dark purple, emerald-cut glass stone. A window cut behind the stone allows light to penetrate through the glass, further enhancing the faux amethyst. Safety clasp holds well. Pin stem conforms to the lines of the brooch. Marked STERLING BY Lampl (with Lampl in script).

Excellent vintage condition. Normal patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed.
