Early Walter Lampl Enameled Ribbon Brooch
This beautiful brooch is composed of 4 layers of curled and enameled brass ribbons. The colors are turquoise and cream, with gold filigree accents. Additional shine and interest is added with collet-set white rhinestones. This original die for this brooch resides at the Providence Jewelry Museum, so we can identify the manufacturer as Whiting & Davis and date it to circa 1935. This brooch is marked with the early block print WALTER LAMPL mark. Safety clasp holds well.
