1947 Walter Lampl Rickshaw Man Figural Brooch
This rarely seen and entirely charming brooch is from the line of hand-painted figurals introduced in 1947 as part of the Walburt line and marketed as “Gay Puppets.” The brooch has is filled with action, showing a running man pulling a brightly painted two-wheeled cart that is embellished with red, purple, and blue rhinestones. Marked WL. Safety clasp holds well.
