1940s 900 Silver Link Bracelet - Semiprecious Gemstones & Enamel
We have been unable to determine the country of origin for this spectacular bracelet, but the quality of its materials and craftsmanship cannot be ignored. Five hand-chased links set with tear-shaped amethyst, turquoise, carnelian, coral, and jadeite cabochons have fine enamel detailing around the stones. Between these links are 5 narrower links cast in an Art Nouveau-style floral design. The daughter of the original owner believes it was obtained in Argentina in 1947 or 1948. Slide clasp holds well and is hallmarked 900 and with a tiny set of initials. Original safety chain is present and works well. Beautiful patina of vintage silver has been left undisturbed.
Measures 7-1/4 inches long, 1-3/8 inches wide.
Excellent vintage condition with some enamel loss but no damage to cabochons or silver.
