1930s Chinese Export Enamel & Tiger's Eye Silver Butterfly Fan Brooch
This gorgeous filigree brooch is shaped like a fan and enameled with brilliant blue and green butterflies and flowers. It is set with 5 cabochons of semiprecious tiger’s eye, each measuring 2 mm. in diameter, and has 3 tiger’s eye bead dangles. The high purity silver is gilded. Marked SILVER, a standard that typically exceeded sterling at the time when it was made in the 1930s. Safety clasp holds well.
Measures 2-3/4 inches in diameter. Weighs 15 grams.
